Green House Literary

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

Greetings from Green House

We're looking for outstanding content for publication. Literary fiction, fantasy, science fiction, horror, speculative, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, genres we haven't listed, and genres we didn't know existed. Sonnets, free verse, poems that are shaped like plants, and poems that aren't. Essays, creative articles, movie reviews, and other strange vegetation.

We're looking for stuff that make us want to build a green house full of carnivores plants, or lick trees, stare at the sun for five hours, make a decadent breakfast at eight P.M., or otherwise move us in weird, new ways.

Send us what you've got, and we'll respond within a month for general submissions and by January 2022 for our contest. General payment is an ice cream shop full of love for your work. We want to pay, and we will, once we become rich enough to stop eating twenty-five cent ramen noodles and borrowing books from the library we work at. For now, we're building a digital bookshelf instead (it's a lot cheaper than Barnes & Noble and Barbara's Bookstore).

Please review our important guidelines for each project below before you submit.
